In the first place, 18 years old is WAY TOO YOUNG to get married. Believe me, there is a lot to learn about life while you're still a single person. In the second place, remember that it takes two to tango, and this other dude will not break you up unless your girlfriend is willing.

JP ... FIRST.. get a grip... "you cannot afford to lose her?" get real! What more can you do for her to love you instead? How much more of your dignity are you willing to give up for this girl? All of it? Here is the deal, the more you try and cry and say I am nothing without you.. the more she will be turned off by you. Reread that, and believe it. This won't be your last girlfriend. This isn't about dude hitting on your girl, it's about your girl listening to HIS advances. That's a bad sign for you. That means she is not satisfied for you. If she was as head over heels for you... she would have put him in his place. IF he is making a punk out of you, then punch his *** in the nose, but the truth is... SHE is making a punk out of you! "Hopeless... can't afford to lose her... serious relationship" you are clearly not in the right mind. Get a grip. You HAVE to value yourself at LEAST as much as any girl, else... this will ALWAYS happen to you. Believe it.

If she is really loves you as you said she does. Then no matter what she will make the right decision to be with you. Just be strong and be a real man. Just don't let anyone walk all over your head, and don't do anything silly that will jeopardize your life. women like man who is confident and intelligence. So be one. If she end up choose the other one over you, she is not worth to keep. You are is still young, there is plenty opportunity ahead of you. You'll see in like 10 yrs from now.

If your gf loves you as much as she says, than there shouldn't be any worries. Right? Then on the other hand, if she is only telling you what you want to hear (which girls are good at doing) than there will be trouble. Remember, it takes two to tango. Good Luck.

If She really loves you she wld not believe a word this other fella says and wldn't give him the time of day for bagging you out.
I wld sit down with her and see what she really wants out of your relationship. Don't b takin 4 a fool ur young and though it may not feel like it you will find someone else you can learn to love. Time heals all wounds you can forgive but never forget.

since you are just 18 yrs, your view of love life may differ in later years....so stay focus on something like studies or works at this moment because they will build up your image into a better one in her heart. if she falls in love with that guy this easily, that would be pointless for you to sustain the dying relationship but leave a good image in her heart.. at least to save one last final note for your first serious love. good luck!!

If your story is true and your girlfriend is an intelligent woman and you treat her right, that guy couldn't do anything. Perhaps, your girlfriend doesn't love you as much as you think she does or maybe she's just dumb and gullible or?

Don't you and your girlfriend talk about this ? If anyone can cause you to break up I wouldn't have her. And to be married to her and being afraid some one can cause you to break up ?

There comes a time in every mans life where he has to put his foot down. Tell her what you know he is doing and that you don't like it. Tell her how you feel and ask her to cut ties with this other dude. Otherwise if she doesn't respond to you putting your foot down about this put it up this dudes butt and let him know he crossed the line.
