If you dated a man in his late 20's, generally a normal guy, with car, good job, well-education, nice, etc.
But you found out you were his first girlfriend ever, and first kiss, first everything.
Would you be happy, shocked or wouldn't care?
Would you respect him more, less or the same?

Gratefully Dedicated,
The only thing 'wrong' with this guy is that he went to a boy's school all his life, and has always been shy and nervous around women.
Do you still find it creepy?

If I was his first because he was too busy getting somewhere in his life, then I say great! Sounds like a keeper.

I would be a little nervous that you would want to explore other woman. I would be a little shocked but wouldnt care too much if you showed me love and devotion and didnt seem to wonder off. I believe when you find that right person no matter how many people they have and have not been with doesnt matter. It is the love that will carry through. and that person would love you all the more for those attributes.

I would be surprised but it wouldn't matter. Since I already would respect someone I had chosen to date totally based on how he feels, thinks, acts, what his values are and how he treats me I don't think it would make any difference to the way I respect him. I would probably be honored that he chose me. Not often you get to be first.

I wouldn't care at all. I'd feel special actually.
I'd resepect him the same...there's no difference on if he kissed a girl or not or never been in a relationship or whatever...it doesn't matter, as long as he was good.

I'm a woman in the same boat. I'd be shocked to find a freak like me, and I'd feel honored to be hist first, but I'd have to say I'd assume there was something wrong with him too. Not that there isn't something a little wrong with everyone.

I was this guys first, now we are married with 3 kids...I respected him more in the begining, but later he wondered what it was like to date, caused trouble for awhile, he never went out on me, and we stayed together and are still in love...my point if you married your first never wonder.....

i might be suprised...but i ultimately would not care. there could be tons of factors behind why this guy has never dated before. and i would respect him and feel honored that i was his first.
well....unless it was becuz he was secretly a serial killer or something. then i might be a little pissed.
but go date. if the girl has a problem with it...you REALLY don't need her to begin with!!
GOOD LUCK!!!

well i think if i truly liked the guy i should realize that he is the way he is because of all his life experiences, so in all he has developed into the person he is because of his life choices, i would respect it and be honored that he would want to share his first time with me.

As long as the guy didn't have any hidden problems, like being a closet axe murderer, I wouldn't care if he had never been kissed. I would perhaps wonder why.

I'd be honored! I'd feel special. I might worry he'd think what he missed out on & hadn't sewn his wild oats, but I'd date him & feel very special for that. I'd have more respect for a man like what you described & be very happy to be with him.
