Please do not judge or comment about whether it is a right act or not! I know how to deal with that.

If only you know the answer, then please answer the most proper one. Thats all. NO MORE PRE-JUDGEMENTS PLEASE

All of these people are absolutely pathetic. Pro-life my ***.

Anyway...

The only safest way to have an abortion is to talk it over with your doctor, or go to an abortion clinic (You'll have to anyway) and have a sit down with one of their technitions or doctors. I think the abortion pill is good for up to 8-9 weeks, but I'm not too sure.

If anything, I'd have to say go to the abortion clinic and have a serious chat with them.

Coming from a pro-choice woman, I wish you the very best of luck and you have my support all the way.

There is NO such abortion pill known as RU 148LMAO...where the hell did that one come from? There is however RU486 See link below. You must get it BEFORE you are 63 days from your last period.
There of course is "The morning after pill" which prevents implantation of an already ferilized ovum...however THAT must be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex and is only abou 85% effective...Back when it was given by prescription only docotors would make follow up appointments with the patient for 6 weeks from the date the script was given as a precaution because of the low effectiveness and the fact that the fertilized ovum may not have implanted and the "mini period" may not have done the job. There is D & C/vacuum aspiration or suction curettage. Please keep in mind that all except the first two ARE surgical procedures and ANY surgical prcedure carries with it the element of risk...however these are all safe and effective and don't let some closed minded religious nutcase make you feel guilty.

"
from a healthcare providers stand of few no abortion is very safe
" Now there's a load of BS...

Depending where your from. Im in Australia, and here we have clinics where a pill isn't used, but surgery is done while your unconcious from anesthetic. If this is the choice your certain with make sure the clinic you attend is sterilized and clean.

After this procedure, as with the others, there can be cramping in the lower tummy, like period pain and it can also cause infections, so make sure you have a follow up at the doctors.

You may not think you need one, but please talk to a counsillor before and after your procedure or someone close to you that will listen and not judge you. It can be a very emotional time, and the support will really help.

Hope everything works out well for you.

No offense but you are in yahoo answers and people are going to comment on what they feel is right not because someone tells them not to comment. I would ask your doctor. To my knowledge there is not really to many safe abortion methods except maybe the pill which even then may make you very sick for a bit. But then again, I am not a doctor so do not know. I don't agree with abortion myself, but my opinion is a woman is going to do what she will . Though I do not agree it is still legal and if someone is going to smoke they are going to smoke. I still don't think abortion should be used as birth control but the same goes for that situation. If it were rape or significant threat to you then that is different. As for the opinions, most of them are saying there is no safe ways so they are answering the question as well. It is just their opinion in the matter is added as well.

All methods of abortion have risks. In a surgical abortion, the abortionist must first force open your cervix, which is very tightly closed to protect the baby. This can result in tearing and permanent damage. He then inserts a sharp-tipped suction tube into your womb and turns on suction 30 times more powerful than a vacuum cleaner. The suction tears the baby apart and pulls her out of your womb. He then inserts a curette (a loop-shaped steel knife) into your womb to scrape out any remaining parts of the baby and your placenta. Some abortionists use only the curette to cut apart the baby rather than using suction. Abortion is a "blind procedure." The abortionist cannot see what he is doing after he inserts the sharp instruments into your womb, but must go by "feel." As a result, he can puncture your uterus, bowel, or bladder.

In a chemical abortion, two chemicals are given. The first cuts off your baby's source of nourishment, causing her to starve to death inside your womb. The second chemical causes hard contractions to push the dead baby out of your body. This takes an average of nine days, bleeding is profuse, and pain is severe. Sometimes, parts of the baby are left inside your womb, where they can rot and cause infection. This is what killed 18-year-old Holly Patterson in California several years ago. 11 women have died after aborting their baby chemically:

I would say you should talk to a doctor who will hopefully give you the best option with the fewest risks. I think the people judging you are wrong, none of us know your situation and you didn't ask for anyone's opinion. I'm personally not for abortions, well except for certain situations but I'm NOT here to judge-- just to answer your question. I'm sure you have gone with your heart and are doing what's right for you. Good luck.

I don't believe the question was "do you think I should have an abortion". So all you people need to get off your high horse and leave this person alone If she wanted you opinion of whether or not she should have one I'm sure she would have asked. And to answer your question, I would go to a doctor and ask them the safest way. After all they would know better then anyone on here.

my question for you is were you on birth control? Are did you get raped or something horrible like that? You say you are looking for a SAFE abortion- well safe for who? not the fetus cause abortion KILLS and i really dont think you should have one done unless you got pg by way of rape or something like that, something that you wouldnt have any control over. some will probably say that you should keep the baby and all give it to a family, i dont know its a hard say. us in yahoo answers cant tell you what to do that will be safe cause what is really SAFE? please consider your opions before making any rash decisions okay, but whatever you do decide to do be careful and take care of yourself. god bless you with your problem.

There is no "safe" way.

#1- no matter what form you choose, you are still killing a baby
#2- it may hurt your chances of having kids later
#3- you may think its no big deal now, but you may really hurt yourself emotionally. i know 6 women who have had abortions. 2 of them are ruined and can not have any more children at all. ALL of them still cry almost every day. Most of them felt like it was no big deal, until after they did it.
#-oh, and its gonna hurt no matter what

I know so many couples who desperatly want a baby, and have been trying for a long time. Someone else could take very good care of your child. I know you may think your circumstances are bad, but I am friends with a woman who was raped by her dad at age 9 and got pregnant. SHE kept her daughter! Another friend of mine was brutally raped, and kept her little boy who is now a happy little 8 year old. My mom was told she would DIE if she didnt abort me!!! She fought the doctors off who tried to force her to do it, and here I am! You can make it! Others have done it!
