The bottom series that you listed converges to e or about 2.71828.... The above should be very very close to it so roughly 2.70 would say. The bottom series I believe is actually one of the definitions of the number e (Euler's number) Im a bit tired but the link has the sequence and what not.

um... if n=0, then they are both undefined.. at least that's what my college algebra professors said... but i don't know what the funkey E is, so i'm sorry.
