Nobody knows when the world is coming to an end. Only Jesus Christ has the answer to that. He is the king of kings and lords of lords. The good master up above knows all things only he know when the world is coming to an end not man. What ever december 21 2012 prophecy youve heard is nonsense. Man cant predict something like that.

Mayans...i think they were obsessed with keeping up with time b/c they thought that this was the end of the world...that the earth was gonna implode...or something to that effect...they were on a lot of drugs and sacrificed people and stuff so i think they might have been a little off....hmm human sacrifice may have been the incas....they believed the earth goes on cycles...that the last one will turn over then...pretty interesting stuff...i'm a christian so i lean toward the revelation end of things...most of the websites about the 2012 thing are wordy and incoherent...sort of like my reply :[

The Mayan calendar comes to an end on Sunday, December 23, 2012. I guess crackpots like to think that this date will be "the end of the world", rather than some reasonable explanation- like they had to end it somewhere, and couldn't record the calender to infinity.

the Norman calender ends that the real reason . but some say it,s the need of the world but some say ww3 will start or a new beginning and understanding of the spirt world or jest a nother sales pich. like y2k.

It's the end of the Mayan or Aztec calendar or some such thing. Doesn't matter, only God Himself knows when the world will end. Not even the angels in Heaven know.

some board person whose internet was out (no Y! answers) did some number crunching and went OMG THE WORLD WILL END ON 12/12/12!!!!! OMG!!!!! so he decided to start massive panic.. didn't work too well that i can see... same kind of thing as the y2k bug
