when a/b=c/d where a,b,c,d are non zero
then

by using componendo we get
a+b/b=c+d/d

by using dividendo we get
a-b/b=c-d/d

by using invertendo[not invatendo] we get
b/a=d/c

by using componendo-dividendo we get
a+b/a-b=c+d/c-d

a/b=c/d=e/f implies [a-b/c-d]=[c-d/e-f]
this method is called compoundo n dividendo

if a/b=c/d then u can write it as (a+b)/(a-b)=(c+d)/(c-d) this is called componedo and dividendo.........
