my guess is its a heat issue....your cpu is overheating. have you it overclocked? boot the bios and set the cpu clock multiplier to auto and the fsb to auto. most motherboards are programmed to reboot automatically if the cpu temp rises above recommended operating temps.... buy a better heatsink and fan for your cpu dont forget thermal compound to apply a thin layer between the cpu surface and heatsink... it once happened to me where the compound had dried out and thus didnt do its job... i removed the heatsink cleaned it then removed and cleaned the cpu (use TIM fluid to clean it NEVER use water. its available at any decent pc parts store) put the cpu back in the socket and apply enough thermal compound (again available at any good pc store) to cover only the die of the cpu (not the circuit board part) then put the heatsink n fan back on.

Uh-oh. Sounds like a power supply problem, I recently had this happen to me too. If you have another spare computer, try changing out the power supply with one from another computer and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, just go out and buy a new one, they're not very expensive, about $40-$100 depending on your brand and wattage.
I'd recommend getting an Antec brand, but no RaidMax or store brand power supplies.

those are the failings that could desire to be inflicting it :- broken/defective RAM (it rather is the undertaking I had). in case you have Microsoft place of work, see in case you have Microsoft place of work kit and use the diagnostics device. this could attempt your RAM and another issues. in case you have 2 RAM sticks and are valuable adequate to touch them, take one out.... See in case you have the undertaking. in case you do, then placed it back in and take the different out. make valuable to hold YOUR palms on the CASE FOR some SECONDS TO GET OUT ANY STATIC out of your physique. the 1st element you may desire to verify for is viruses and secret agent ware. you have in all hazard already performed this, yet attempt downloading some loose utility as some utility possibilities up issues which others do no longer. perhaps an element is loose, it could desire to be an incompatible application/hardware etc... The record is countless. I recommend you seek for those first 2 issues in case you're experienced adequate. If no longer, have your laptop checked by skill of knowledgeable technicians (do no longer use a decision provider!!!). additionally, you may desire to get technicians to analyze your RAM for loose. They did this for loose for me at laptop worldwide and because I had bought it from them, they replaced it. even nevertheless...... they did no longer %. up that the RAM replaced into defective. basically Microsoft Diagnostics did, yet i be responsive to it replaced into real because of the fact after changing the RAM, I had no issues. good success!!! once you decide directly to your appropriate answer, say what the end result's. Edit: additionally, you may desire to atleast open your laptop case and verify that there is not any longer too a lot of a enhance of dirt. This restricts airflow and corrodes the circuitry if left for too long. in case you decide on for to get rid of the dirt, take your laptop exterior and blow it with an air canister. do no longer use a vacuum because of the fact the static could injury areas. additionally, do no longer use a cloth, for the comparable motives.

Check your refrigerator. I think the little man that lives there to turn the light on and off has escaped and found his way into your PC
