I'll tell you this. I think the world wont be completely wiped out but i think a catastrophic amount of deaths WILL occur. I think this will be kind of like the black plague in a way. My reasons for thinking that this is a possiblilty is because the virus in the bird flu is constantly evolving(same like other viruses and bacteria) the bird flu obviously kills birds but some other animals as well. Its just a matter of time before it turns into a strain that infects humans as well. And as of now we dont have a cure of any kind of antidote or serum to prolong the life of ppl infected(a few ppl actually picked up the birdflu and died)

Man will be the Virus that kills the world. And the flu will kill (most )of Man kind off. Then Aids ,Hepatitis,TB, oh and WAR!!! will finish the rest us off. Nice Huh...

No, it may be global warming and its consequences or a colliding asteroid has its greatest effect to wipe us out. Hoping that we have the contingency and countermeasures for this.
