i was 36 weeks 4 day when i had my son 3 years ago. everyone is telling me that this one will come around the same time as my first they say that if you are early you will always be early. is this true? has it happened to anyone you know?

I think the baby will come when its ready My first came 2 weeks early then my next was right on time.Relax the baby will be here soon enough.

I was early the first time (4 weeks like you) My second was 2 weeks early and my other 2 came on time. So I don't think it's necessarily true.

Yes it is true. I had my son one week 6 days early and he came fast...or so i thought. Then almost three years later I had my daughter...she came 2 and a half weeks early and I had her so fast I alomst didnt make it to the hospitol. Yes be prepared. If you are not ready yet, then avoid stairs especially if they are steep and excedssive walking b/c this will bring the second labor on even faster.Congradulations!!!!

I had my first daughter at 34 weeks, and each subsequent baby has been early but not as early as the first, second baby was born at 37 weeks, 3rd baby 38 weeks, 4th baby 38 weeks, 5th baby 37 weeks.
I agree it does vary from pregnancy to pregnancy, but my experience shows that some people are just going to have early babies.
All were born perfectly healthy and have had no health problems. Try not to worry, we have no control over when they decide to arrive, s/he will come when its ready!

No thats not true. They can give the mother meds to make sure the baby doesnt come early again. My pregnant neighbor has to get shots in her hip every week because her first kid was 5 weeks early and his lungs werent fully developed.

I had my son at 35 weeks but i only have one child anyhow my sister had her first kid at 36 weeks and then she went to her due date with her second kid.
Everyone is different and just because you did not make it to your due date the first time does not mean it will be the same the second time around.

every pregnancy is different it all depends on the baby it has no cycle it might have happened coincidently but there is nothing proving that i dont even know of it happening top anyone i know just let the baby decide when its ready

well my mom had my brother early and then i came when i was suppose to my brother was born like two or three months early and i wasnt....hope this helps you.......
