Why are most white people ractist against African americans?

like on my space or any website even this one! i am an African american 13 year old girl and when somone says the n-word or anything rastist against black people it makes me wanna cuss them out, and when i finsh cussing them out i feel bad cause they dont kno any better to kno that everyone is equal and that they are sad a** retarted people who are annoying and a**holes.

Who cares? Live and let live.

Just know that only the ignorant are racist and that it plagues all colours. Any educated person knows that generalizations and stereotypes are a little "off" usually.

Please know that cussing them out just takes you down to their level. I would suggest you take the high road from now on and you'll be a much happier person.


Oh, and don't listen to huckleberry up there as he is guiding you in the wrong direction and will turn you into an angry black person. That will not solve the problem, it will only perpetuate it.
Don't get me wrong, you need to embrace your heritage, but not in an extreme way like he is suggesting.

Because White people in general feel that everyone should be treated equally. This is the same thing that blacks have been wanting for years, right? Now since the civil rights bill was passed, blacks now have the same rights as Whites, right? So White people think that the blacks now have special considerations given to them JUST because they are black. And that is discriminatory to the Whites. Here are some examples: The congressional black caucus. Points given to blacks on their college entrance exams so that they get the placement ahead of a White student with higher test scores. Points given to black applicants on federal job applications so that a less qualified black gets the job instead of the more qualified White in order JUST to have a certain number of black employees; and this happens on the state and local levels as well as private businesses. The fact that public schools HAVE to be intergrated JUST so that the schools get federal monies when the intergration causes the schools test scores and rate of classroom progression to plummmet. How corporate America is scared to show the black person in a submmissive role in relation to the Whites in their television ads, examples: IBM with its biometric passwords ads. Allstate insurance with it's car insurance ads Staples with it's easy button ads, and the list goes on and on. In these and MANY more TV ads the black person is shown as the supervisor, or the White person is shown as the idiot and the black as the smart one. And most all the ads show the black in business attire as a white collar worker VERY,VERY seldom will the black be shown as the blue collar worker. And surely you see how light skinned the blacks are that television companies cast in programming and commercials( this is an attempt by the TV programmers to make the blacks more acceptable to the Whites by showing people who might pass as being more White than black, and it lets the TV folks say " yeah we have the required number of blacks in our programming"). All this promotes the black person ahead of the White person. And how about the congressional black caucus and the NAACP. Aren't these organizations being RACIST by EXCLUDING Whites? Not that a White would want to be included anyway. And did you know that the NCAA has NOT graduated a single black athlete in the past several years? Can't the blacks see that the White division 1A and 2A colleges have them playing sports for the White "Boss-man"? And you see how more and more cities are being taken over by blacks. The White people will move to the suburbs to get away from the encroaching blacks. This leads to the cities becoming rundown and property values to decline because Whites do not want to live near blacks. You don't see Whites moving INTO black neighborhoods do you? And in order for the blacks to be ABLE to move into White neighborhoods President Bush went to Atlanta just before the last election and GAVE(meaning they didn't have to work and save) $200,000,000.00 so the blacks and mexicans could pay down payments and closing cost on home purchases. Where was the money for the Whites? The Whites didn't get anything. These reasons and many more are why White people are sometimes perceived as being racist. The Whites can only take so much, and sometimes it just causes the White person to not be able to hold the feeling of being discriminated against in check.

I don't know why so many people act so hatefully. But many people use the n word as a social greeting now, that it really holds no meaning anymore. Also, if you want to change the way "most white" people treat black people then you have to make yourself a good example for them to start with.

With any preconceived notions people have (rich vs. poor, black vs. white, male vs. female, straight vs. gay, christian vs. islam, etc.) there are things that people have perceived either in reality or in social stereotypes and you can only change these ideas by proving them wrong with your individual behavior.

If someone is treating you poorly, kill them with kindness. Don't cuss them out or give them more encouragement to think the way they already do about you. Instead, forgive them and show mercy. Every moment of your life is about how YOU will respond and not how others respond to you. You will be held accountable for your actions to God and blaming white people for how they treated you will not be an acceptable explanation for your angry heart.

The same goes for me. I am solely responsible for my words, my works, and my heart. We are all created by one Creator and are therefore all beautifully, and wondrously made. May peace fill your heart, even if you find yourself surrounded by hate. The world we live in is a fallen one.

And don't fall into the trap of being a "proud black woman" If you met someone who labeled themselves as a "proud white woman," that would mean that she wouldn't be proud if she was anything but white. No one has any business being proud of something they have no control over and PRIDE ALWAYS COMES BEFORE A FALL. You shoud be "proud" of your character, your gentleness, your HUMILITY and your GRACE, not how dark or how light your skin is. sheesh.

I am white, I am not racist. I know that there are racist white people in this world but to say most all are is wrong. there are also other races that are racist, not just whites. I don't like the n-word either but it seems to me that more black people use it toward one-another these days than white people do. Does this make black people racist against their own race? You are only 13, you have a lot to learn about different races, and should do so before accusing.

I am black and I'm a few years older than you. The only thing I can tell you is that there are racist people in every race. The only thing you can do to stop it is to conduct yourself in a fashion that stops racisim. I'm not saying to "act white" but you know how your momma told you to "act like you have some home training". just carry yourself as an educated young woman, period. Eventually people will treat you as one, not a just black woman. And do not answer any rude or racist comments. You are only fueling their flames and promoting their cause by cussing them out.

I am "white" if you want to call me that, but since I'm guessing you don't like being called "black" you should probably be consistant and not do so. Anyway, I'm sorry you have to come across racism at all, but I promise, most white people, at least the younger generation are not racist. There may be some old bigots that can't except what Dr. King accomplished but I don't know any "white" people my age that are racist. Just those crazies that worship Hitler but they hate everyone.

Most white people aren't racist. Usually, only the scuzzy ones are. They tend to be angry they aren't the ruling class even though they don't work and will drink a case of Milwaukee's Best and smoke meth every day. By the same token, black people can be very racist as well. I think it has more to do with class than race. If you aren't doing anything with your life, blaming another race is a nice excuse. Most educated people aren't racist because it simply doesn't make sense.

And by the way, how can we expect people not to use derogatory terms on us when we use them on ourselves? If we had more respect for ourselves, our bodies, and our minds, others would as well.

First you ARE being racist or just using words very lightly. 'Most' white people means 50% of more white people.

Most people of all races are accepting, but the ones that arn't stand out in our minds more.

Also don't devolop a hate of white people that makes you just as bad them.

And the web is different from real life some people (called trolls) say outrageous things for attention they don't actually beleive.

Good girl... you're getting a good lesson on the world we live in young. These type of experiences will help you over come white racism and also how to recognize it.
Remember this most whites especially Americans are not racist but enough of them are. You always have to remeber that you and I are black and the rules for you and I are a little different that they are for whites but what ever you do...stay black, don't ever allow whites to intimidate you to not be proud of being a beautiful black woman. You need to do some reading as well on Jim Crowism in America and the writings of W.E.B. Dubois as well as Malcolm X, this will further educate you and help you navigate racism in the future.

I Dont really know why i just asked that question but it might be because they hate theyselves and they like to make other human beings feel like crap because they do and some kids parents raise them that way. Hope That Helps ^_^
