Lymph mainly consists of 2 components solids (4%) and water (96%)
Solids can be:
Organic substances:
Proteins (2-6%)
-albumin,globulin,fibrinogen, prothrombin, antibodies,enzymes

Lipids :( 5-15%)
-chylomicrons and lipoproteins

Amino acids

Carbohydrate: glucose

Non protein nitrogebous substances:
Urea
Creatinine

Inorganic substances:
Sodium,calcium,potassium (low in concentration)
Chlorides and bicarbonates (higher concentration than in plasma)

Cellular components:
Mainly lymphocytes
Lymph has 0.02-0.10% as many red cells
Monocytes,macrophages and plasma cells…..

all of them. Lymph contains only the interstitial fluid that is in excess of what the veins can deliver back to the heart..
