How many times do you inscribe a rune into a candle. I would like to know so that I can start doing that. Thankz

In the magical system associated with the runes, 3 and 9 are considered extremly powerful numbers. I tend to use those as well as the numberical value of the runes themselves when preforming such workings. Also Nordic number lore is slightly different that that of other systems and an understanding of those correspondences will help when determining how many of a particular rune to carve for a speicfic purpose.

This is intriguing. I've never come across such a question even in my own workings. I've seen candles with literally thousands of runes or sigils. I've also seen candles with just one. I can't find anything about numbers of runes in anything I have quickly to hand.
And, I've been at this kind of thing over 60 years.

I agree with Terry , I can't seem to find a reference as to how many times to inscribe a rune.. I would go with what feels good to you, also remembering that 3 is a very magickal number.. Blessed Be
