Most of the other answers are racist... no, it's not that they commit the most crimes while white people don't, it's just that more black people are getting caught.
It's a cultural construct to think that blacks/latinos are the ones committing crimes; they're just being caught in disproportionate numbers. I studied the numbers in Cultural Anthropology, so I don't have them on hand, but that's pretty much what's going on.
Perhaps you're on to something about being anonymous... perhaps then justice would really wear a blindfold.

If you have a problem with these ratios, support greater law enforcement funding so they can chase down more crimes. Right now the ghettos of the country are "hot spots" for crime, so cops spend more time in those areas. They have limited resources, so they apply them where they can get the most criminals. It isn't a racist justice system that forces people to cluster together by race. They choose to do it, and the resulting neighborhoods seem to be spiraling out of control, so the police go to work there. Remember that the people who go to jail are there for committing crimes, so don't ask for police to NOT go after them. Ask for the police to have more resources to work.

i'm uncertain, yet i understand that African American mothers coddle their sons extra advantageous than any team of ladies i've got seen with their sons. It comes from worry of exterior racism and "black male" particular matters being addressed with the help of a single mom. They advance boys plenty softer than they advance their daughters. that's why you're seeing extra black women in college and having the thought that they could do something, as a results of fact many black mothers raising teenagers on my own tell the daughters to be solid and self sufficient, and that they coddle their sons. i'm no longer blaming anybody, btw, in simple terms something i spotted.

Does this mean that because we have not had a black or hispanic President we should have one no matter who votes for who? I just don't understand the rational of trying to say people are racist or whatever based on numbers. Same with jobs and everything else that goes on in this world. Ignore color or whatever bias you tend to have and pick the best, or in this case worst, person!!!!!!

No, people convict the crime. Instead of wasting money developing defendant obscurement technology, we could work to end poverty, close the pay gaps between lower and upper class and focus on real education then we could lower the total crime.

actually all we need to do to change these numbers is to have a "jury of their piers" meaning people of the same class, race and background to judge them. When someone has been in your shoes they tend to understand more.....
blacks are 11% of the american population,,,lol...
they are suppressed, not that non-conformity hasnt hurt them, but either way, we brought them here now we have to clean up the mess through helping them......

Maybe they were influenced by all the gangster rap telling them to do drugs, kill cops, drop out of school and pimp ho's. call me crazy, but maybe culture, or lack thereof, can be a persuasive factor in people's tendencies towards crime.

Good idea!
They should not be able to see the person so the all to common isms can not be used by the all too common ignorant and racist.
I would support this if it was a bill.

Did you ever consider that those arrested were there for commiting crimes?
Are we to let people go because we want to keep the racial numbers in balance?
The solution: Stop commiting crimes!
