I'll be 29 in April.... up until I was 27 I still balled like 5 times a week. But now I'm older. I hurt my back really bad I can't take the running and jumping to my back. Plus it's like once you get older things start to hurt and bother you more, both of my knees kill me after everytime I play now.
I still love the game though so I'm hoping to get some rehab and get back out on the court. It'd be fun to just play in a Men's rec league at least.

Achieved goal of playing till 40. A high school teammate still playing open leagues at 50. There is a guy in Dallas who won the city open division 3 on 3 championship at 59. He was the leading scorer and is known simply as Mr. Hook. There are a few 30, 40, 50 and over leagues around. Keep playing as long as you can.

I'll be 51 this summer. I was playing two to three times a week for most of my 40's. I've been getting back in to it lately; I pulled a quad muscle three weeks ago and haven't been playing since then while I wait for it to heal. My plan is to get back to playing twice a week.
