Sometimes, people make really bad decisions and are not really even aware they are doing that. When the consequences come from those bad decisions, they think that life is unfair because again, they don't realize that they made the poor decision in the first place.
That used to be my problem anyway.

There is something called delayed effect. What we do with our hand now, actualy makes a change in immediate form or place of a material now. Also, there are changes happening at subtle level at our own mental programming and connected circuitary. We with this level of intellect not able to make out the real evolution of each and everything we do and the changes to the current form, mental form and its evolution. But, overall, there is something which carries the effect that very same thing is called "cause". So, if that person or thing is a cause, effect obviously follows. But, the only problem here is, the person also changes by the time the delayed effect comes back. This not only to a person, but it is applicable to a society, government and to the whole world. But, by the time we look back for the reason for the effect now, our memory might have erased the actual incident but the seed of effect still lies there for the right situation to sprout.
That is the reason we judge something "unfair".
But, if we ignore the hardships of others and become cruel to them, a different destinity will wait for us as a matter of cause and effect. Fair and unfair is our judgement and our inability to see the whole in its entirity.

Life is not unfair, its our attitude of looking at things and situations that makes us feel so. One can never expect and infact one should not expect life to go on as we wish it to cos perhaps then it would appear even more unfair.....at d end of day one gets to know, that life was being unfair 2 us 4 some time so dat at d end we get a fair reward 4 facing odd times with fortitude....

Everything that happens has a reason behind it even if you don't understand what it is yet. When one door closes another one opens but you may not see the open door yet.
For example if you're born without functioning legs then you weren't meant to be an athlete, your goal is to concentrate on your mind or start out a new sport or inspire people, etc, endless possibilities. That's just an example to explain my opinion.
Besides, who decides on what we are meant to have or not have, why do we expect everything. If a child is raised without a parent we think it's unfair, but what if the children raised with parents or born with legs are extra lucky, what if that's the cherry on top and not what's SUPPOSED to be.
What if we consider each day to be a gift and make it as positive as possible despite the challenges we face?

I agree that life is unfair to many people, I count myself as one of the unlucky ones and have sat wondering WHY/??no matter what good qualities one has every thing seems to be taking a negative way, its the looks, habits, opinions where nothing really seem to match up with the other -its ufortunate though BUT as we learn to sit in the back seat or remain behind the curtains one realizes that life is meant to be this way and not all are born to enjoy certain good fortunes in life, its destiny that they call it I believe -Ayesha Ahmed

And why does bad things happen to good people all the time? When the tectonic plates crash into each other causing human calamity, they don't worry about Karma, good and bad, evil and riteousness. Life's paths are made up of randon circumstances, some predictable and some not.
Most religious people will state that god has a 'bigger' plan for them and humans in general, that we can't know the 'big picture.' Most say there can't be good unless we know or experience the depths of evil.
Is it fair to have predation, disease, deformities, child rape, parasites and evil in the world? If the answer is yes, then with god(s) like that, who need them?

We are to only live our life and not judge it in terms of fair or unfair. If we indulge in judging, we lose the opportunity to live.
Life is all about current endeavor and future opportunities... if we waste the present on brooding over the past, the future suffers. What really matters is not whether it is fair or unfair as of now.... it is the difference we can make in the future that really counts.

LIfe is all about choices we make.....GOOD OR BAD. I undersatnd that we feel many times that life is unfair...it's actually due to our past karmas only or our wrong decisions of this birth. If we take right decisions at the right time and stay at the right place with the right people then nothing is impossible. We must keep following our dreams ans succees will follow us. We should never give up...no matter what happens. We should have firm belief in GOD and should ask for his forgiveness. He wil and give us choices and chances accordingly...REST IS IN OUR HANDS> To take the right move or wrong...

why life is so unfair to some people??
is it really true??
NO NO NO and NO for ever
am not a "life is fair to me" person
have known ups and downs and il nearly all cases there was that one human touch that was lacking to really help me get out of the problem.
but that person rarely exists. somebody who walks by and sees that u r in some prob and happens to help just a bit. that would have relieved that suffering one.
we r 2 egoistic to help. we fear that by helping someone he may become better than us. this is the prob . at times we r happy to see that person in some prob. we r 2 concerned with ourselves.
some people hesitates 2 help 4 fear that someone else may be unhappy with him (the helper) so this is the prob we fear the future and want 2 be gud all the time.
