Music like Malice Mizer's last album(Bara no Seidou)?

Question

I thoroughly enjoyed Bara no Seidou: Malice Mizer's last album.

Does anyone know of any music like Bara no Seidou which mixed genres and experimented heavily with different effects and various singing styles, resulting in a rich and layered music?

I recall the singing styles, thrown in with tints of light opera, contrasted perfectly with the techno and trance beats and it wasn't too over-the-top either.

Well it all depends if you have listened to the earlier music of malice mizer. I hapen to like Bara no Seidou for the same reasons you stated. There earlier stuff is not as heavy and a little bit popish but you still might enjoy the music during the gackt era and a few pieces in the Tetsu era. I light opera tones were used because of Klaha's voice and Mana's ability to compose around it. His band Moi dix Mois might be to your liking it has a more metal sound but the songs that Juka sang remind me a little of Gackt and Klaha mixed together. I hoped this helped you out. Oh yeah Deflower and Nocturnal Romance happen to be favs of mine from Moi dix Mois.
