I'd suggest making one. I say this noting that most of your questions are about fashion.
Find something that expresses YOU and enjoy doing it, that is, if you really need one.
Weird thing... I've never used an apron at home (had to for work when I ran pizzerias, but that was the law). My wife has one that hangs on the pantry door, but I don't remember her using it in the time she's lived with me (almost a year and a half).

~ As you ARE already creative, Kattie, I too would suggest that you design your own, based on the 'visuals' your 'sweetie' loves.
~ You buy a plain apron from stores like Michaels, Sears, Penny's, etc, or other art supply stores.
~ Be creative with sewing on patches or designs that he would enjoy reading/watching while helping you cook.
~ You could also use the cloth paints (tube-type) and design sayings:
~ ~ Psalm 34:8 "O taste and see that the LORD [is] good..."
Caution: Sounds like your NOT married yet, make sure you have accountability at home with you... save your purity for your future husband. That's God's desire for you.

Try this link. Feminine aprons don't come much cuter than this strawberry pinafore.
