Ok according to my last period i was 23wks and 1day on March 1st which is the day i got my ultra sound .. the doctor said the baby was pretty much ballpark on matching up with my lmp ..most of his body parts measured 23w1d or 23w but some of them measured 22w4d and then his arms measured 25wks .. so im a little confused ..maybe some of his body parts are growing at different rates ..but i didnt know if it meant i could be further along or not as far??

due dates and what not are not exact, so don't worry too much about it and if your dr thought there was something was wrong he/she would tell you.they wouldn't leave you in the dark about anything important. im sure your baby is healthy.

Plz dont panic. At 23 weeks, u r in ur second trimester wherein a difference of 2 weeks plus/minus in USG readings is considered 2 be normal taking into account a lot of factors ( machine and/or observer related) that have got nothing 2 do with ur baby and her health. All that u should be concerned about is that her parts r well-formed, there is no anomaly getting missed(depending on the machine's resolution ) n that her parameters lie in the normal range. Please remember that there may be a 3-week discrepancy in the 3rd trimester without meanig anything serious. What will matter is that her parts have grown as much as they should have and there is adequate liquor inside. Relax!

Your due date they give you is an "estimated due date". It could be anywhere from a week to two weeks off, but it's usually a pretty good estimate. Don't worry if some "parts" are "further along" than others. My youngest's ultra sounds were the same way & he didn't come out looking any different than any other baby. good luck & congrats!!

you're probably still 23 weeks and whatever. going by your LMP. Yeah his body could be developing a little faster, but the rest of him will catch up.

If you are so concerned, why didn't you ask the doctor when you were there? You had an open opportunity to ask. If there was a problem, don't you think your doctor is experienced enough and educated enough that he would know and tell you? Or would he keep this from you??

i wont be technical but i've got 3 kids and each one was always small according to my dates. they were all born healthy and weighed 6.5lb, 5.13lb and 5.12lb so even small they grew into normal size kiddies. i was only 4lb at birth so there you go. dont dwell to much into it, if the doctor isnt worried, u shouldnt be either

they really never know for sure and some kids have long arms, thats about whats going to happen. none of us are perfect and their measurements are for the optimum child which no one really is.
