How does the 20-Questions game by Radica work? It guesses right nearly everytime and to unusual answers too.?

PS- I think it must be more than the process of elimination. I have had it guess at something where the questions it asked could have applied to one or more possible things, yet it gets that specific one. Not the other 4 it could have been....weird it is.

I know!! That thing freaks me out!!!! It even guessed obscure words, like Toilet, Poop and, most scary of all, envelope!
It's EVIL!!!

process of elimination. it asks enough random questions together that only a very few items will match all the same answers.
