I had the same test, had some small cysts, and my doctor put me on Metformin, which is a medication which helps diabetics keep their blood sugar regular. My cysts shrunk, and several disappeared altogether.
Oddly enough, Polycystic Ovary Disease is not a gynocological disorder, but rather a metabolic disorder and that is why the Metformin works.
Please do yourself a favor and don't worry. You are at the right age for Polycystic Ovary Disease, and the cure is a simple medication.

Well if the doc suspects pcos, isnt that where you form cysts on your ovaries? So the lump you saw may have been a cyst.

Dont stress it though...easier said than done, but it wont make the time go any faster.

Good luck with the results.
