i had my baby 2 and a half months ago, i love her very much and always answer her cries i never ignore her. shes my world and i'm hers, but im talking about other things such as my relationship and my emotions. i dont know what to think anymore. i really wish i could just talk to someone one on one but at this hour there is no one, and this is the time where i am awake and alone.

It's simple... if you're really really sad and you just had a baby, you might have post partum depression.

If you think about hurting yourself or the baby, that is a good indicator. Most of what you are probably feeling is b/c of being a new mom. It is a lot of physical and emotional stress. For the first few months you should concentrate on nothing but you and your baby. As long as you enjoy the time you spend with him/her you shouldn't have any thing to worry about.

Always feeling overwhelmed. Not wanting to respond to the baby. If you feel the baby is the reason why you are sad or stressed out.

are you crying all the time? do you wish the baby would just go away? do you ever walk away from the baby instead of to it when it cries?

i honesly couldnt tell but its just like really bad mood swings and u get aggrivated very easily short tempered just thinngs like that i didnt get mine treated and now im bipolar so i would tell the doc if u have any symptoms
