In an experiment with a gyroscope (similar to a spinning top) it was observed that it took a different amount of time to stop based on the direction of the spin. It is a revelation since current knowledge of physics and mathematics completely opposes this fact, so what does this mean for our future, how do u think it will enhance and change our current technology?

here's a detailed article of the experiment:

jekin...
here's an excerpt from the article "The effect is real, large, reproducible and does not follow from experimental errors."
This experiment is very simple so try it at your house, you don't need much, and see the results for yourself.

I read the article.
Neat.
Basically this is a small battery.
When you spin something really fast, and then spin it the other way really fast, you would think that being a solid, everything would stop and go the other way just like you would expect a solid to do.
But this sin't what happens.
Essentially the "solid" is acting like a liquid, and even though the top is spinning toi the left say, at a microscopic level there will still be attoms left that are spinnig to the right.

This is exactly the same as if you stirr up a glass of water and then start stirring it the other way. Even though the bulk of the water is going one way, there are still attoms at the microscopic level that didn't make the switch. If you start strirring back the original way you will find it far easier to get the water spining.

I don't think that this discovery will hav all that great an impact, as it is more or less predicted by quantum mechanics anyway, there is no way to get any free energy out of it, nor does it have any implication for reducing long term friction or wear.

However it will be usefull in expanding the accuracy of gyroscopes, which will have a benefit mainly in the military arena.

Has it been tried on the other side-end of the planet? bit like water going in one direction in the northern part and a different direction in the southern part...as that would be caused by gravity.

went - read, probably micro abrasions at the interface of the pin point of the Gyros' holder, reversing it tends to backhand the abrasions whereas same direction of spin polishes it further.

You did not take into consideration of the effects of wear of the bearing from one spin to the next, also the temperature of the bearing could have been different each time, the quality and temperature of the bearing lubricant wasn't mentioned in each run, was the air temperature and humidity and air currents in the room the same each time the same.how did you measure the rpms of each spin, is your rpm instrument accurate.
one thing. precession, as the earth rotates, it would put different forces on the spin axis, and precession would affect the forces on the bearings causing more or less friction. more reasons, but I am tired of typing.

TIME device: Now I surely have theory approximately this slightly and found out that except you're advice that the present that we are in now is the 1st cutting-edge and that there hasn't been a cutting-edge until now us then sure, you're probable good in that a butterfly effect could take place. yet what I advise is you think of that our cutting-edge is in basic terms yet another rendition of the previous somebody has been in by way of somebody else going returned in time from the destiny. in case you're following me then this might help. a million.somebody is going returned in time from the destiny. (additionally conventional as cutting-edge a million) 2.they at the instant are in our previous. 3.This creates our cutting-edge 4.We repeat whilst that individual is at last born. This then might create an endless loop. CYBORGS: Self-understanding in A.I. a probability certainly. HOVER vehicles: You assertion is faulty the two way. Carbon emissions for sure upward thrust besides. yet all pondering with a bit of luck we can on no account be desiring fossil fuels by potential of the time hover vehicles arrive or we are f'd besides. TELEPORTATION: that could certainly suck yet there may well be precautionary measures likely in place.. additionally, in case you're teleporting which may be on the spot. So the 2d you walk in you walk out. The crash might could be on the strategies-blowing 2d you enter and until now you walk out. actually interior lightspeed. cellular telephones: fairly uncertain that radar waves are killing us. Radio has been around for somewhat sometime and makes use of the comparable waves. CORPSE reproduction: do not likely comprehend why we would upward thrust people who've been lifeless for many some years just to tutor them microwaves.. haha. CLONES: the only actual rationalization for clones may well be to reap organs for the universal physique. they might try this because of the fact the organs may well be almost suited compatibility if not suited. Lulz answer: additionally so Arnold Schwarzenegger could make extra video clips and say "ITS A CLONE!!! DOOOWALHWAHALWHAOWHALWHALHW!!!"

It could increase the efficiency of some micro machines..interesting question.
We have so much to learn, but this outcome could come from the direction the planet spins, verses the gravity verses the magnetic field. I mean our gravity norm is created from this balance.
