I have two young children and a dog. I have pretty well wrecked my dad's Dyson, and my Eureaka Boss vacuum, that is fairly new. I can't spend hundreds of dollars on a vac, mainly because my husband would go balistic if I did. Also, something light weight is a plus.

I have one and it's great for wet spills on carpet...way better than a towel.
