Even if you don't want to go that expensive the site can give you some ideas and then you can go find wonderful bags at your local department store. For a business bag, plain black leather is probably your best option. If you start looking into different prints and colors then it will not be something she can carry every day because it may clash with her outfit. However if your wife is in a more fun field like advertising or marketing, then something with a little color might be great. Either way, probably stay away from anything too loud.
Also, seek out a bag that has alot of interior pockets. Compartments are important so that she won't have to carry a purse if she doesnt want to. A good bag has a cell phone pocket and atleast one or two others to make carrying it more functional.

black would be the best like you said it wont clash and there are many places to get a nice bag if you are looking on spending a little money on the bag go to the mall they will be very helpful or try looking on line google it where to purchase black leather tote bag good luck!!

i would say black or brown. Depends entirely on your wife's wardrobe. Does she wear lots of black accessories now? My mom for example doesn't, so she bought a brown bag from coach. It fits her style more. it does not have to match her purse, but complimenting would be OK. When I have to bring a big bag for work, I usually have a smaller purse and stick the purse i the bag so only carry one bag.

What a nice thought.
What color shoes does she wear most often. If black, yes, a black tote would be good. If she wears more brown, go with a brown one. It doesn't have to match perfectly. Ask the salesperson for one that would work well with most outfits.

you should get black for her because if its gonna be for work black is going to be a sofisticated color. to buy that kind of bag then you will want to go to a department store a store thats all bags like brighton or coach. it'll be on the pricier side but if you really want to please her then you will dish out the money. and if you dont want it to be expensive then you can probably get one at walmart.
