I have a sinus infection and bronchitis, I went to the doctor tuesday who put me on antibiotics. Which in turn have caused a RAGING yeast infection. My question is can I use an OTC ointment or should I wait until I go to the OB on monday? I'm 32 weeks. Thanks

I heard you can just use Monistat... Just ask the ladies that work at those counters they will be more then willing to help you and they will know!!! I hate thos yeast infections that are caused by antibiotics they are soooo bad...

Wait to go to an OB/GYN. They will tell you or prescribe you what products to use. I was told the reason for the infections was because of the unbalance of hormones. I don't know if this information helps but I noticed when I had the yeast infections during my first pregnancy, I had a girl. But I didn't get not one my second pregnancy and I had a boy.

I would go to the doc, cause they can give you a pill to take. yeast infections are common in pregnancy and can sometimes affect the baby, so you would want the doctor to monitor it for you, just to be safe

talk to your ob, i dont know what yeast infection meds could do to the baby.

i know its embarrassing i never had one till i got pregnant but i used normal monistat cream when i was 34 weeks

don't worry well go to the doctor first see what he gives you i had one and they gave me monestat
