Two weeks ago, the Bush administration organized an intelligence briefing for journalists in Iraq to demonstrate that Iran was providing weapons to Iraqi insurgents. According to the anonymous briefers, the weapons -- particularly explosively formed penetrators or E.F.P.s -- were manufactured in Iran and provided to insurgents by the Quds Force -- a fact that meant direction for the operation was “coming from the highest levels of the Iranian government.”
Well. A raid in southern Iraq on Saturday seems to have complicated the case. There, The Wall Street Journal reports (sub. req.), troops "uncovered a makeshift factory used to construct advanced roadside bombs that the U.S. had thought were made only in Iran." The main feature of the find were several copper liners that are the main component of EFPs. But, The New York Times reports, "while the find gave experts much more information on the makings of the E.F.P.’s, which the American military has repeatedly argued must originate in

Iran, the cache also included items that appeared to cloud the issue."
Among those cloudy items were "cardboard boxes of the gray plastic PVC tubes used to make the canisters. The boxes appeared to contain shipments of tubes directly from factories in the Middle East, NONE OF THEM IN IRAN."

After 6 years of his non-stop lying, I just assume EVERYTHING Bush says is a lie unless it can be proven otherwise. I save a lot of time that way and have never been wrong yet.

USAToday also did a report by the US Iraq Study Group that in fact Saudi backed Sunnis are more the cause of Coalition forces attacks!
Here's that article:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2006-12-08-saudis-sunnis_x.htm
The Saudis are the Bush family friends and business partners!
So why keep pointing the finger solely at Iran?????

The Pentagon released a photo intended to prove that Iran is furnishing arms to Iraq. The ordnance was a mortar shell allegedly used for an improvised explosive device. It had on the side 81MM, HE, 32006. Modern Iran uses a solar Hijri calendar, so in Iran, our year 200607 is their year 142728. And Iran uses 82MM mortar rounds, most of which they get from Russia.
Is anyone else as sick of getting lied to as I?

I don't understand your question. Seems you wanted to say Bush lied versus asking a question. Perhaps the US should pull out our troops in S Korea, Afghanistan, Japan, Germany, Iraqi and put them on the Mexican border that why we need not lie. I wish the US released pictures of Muslim's beheading us and the workers in the WTC jumping out of windows in case you thought those were a big lie. I don't agree with Bush on many things (he is to religious for me) but he should get us off oil NOW and then we would not need national security lies to wheel and deal for oil.

There is no lie, here. What you're seeing is an escalation.
The EFP's have been coming from Iran, although I would have to question whether it comes from the highest levels of the government. There have been MANY EFP's found that can be traced by to Iran based on the explosive materials. Now, they are able to make their own in Southern Iraq, which is Iranian/Shiite dominated.
If anything, that find further proves that there is an Iranian involvement, here.
Something you failed to mention, too, is the fact that there have been dead Al-Quds soldiers found in Iraq.

Yeah I read that too....But the problem remains..Bush lost his credibility with us and even if he found Pictures of Iranian Fanatics no one would believe him. The bomb parts, manufactured in Iran or else where are originating from Russia , Syria and other sources......We are in trouble folks......The fanatics in the middle east can hardly wait to blow themselves up and anyone else they see as an enemy....The religious fanaticism isn't limited to Iraq and Iran, The Chechen rebels, Afghan hordes and the whole lot of them are waiting for their payday.....
America is stretched to the limits,..and our news broadcasters are constantly feeding the minds of our enemies with information as to our political struggles, and other problems......
.The stuff is there ,manufactured who knows where and who cares? For every one box of parts we find a camel herd of rockets and plutonium is hidden elsewhere........Those people are barbarians.......

To pick a fight you need to have a reason . And if they cannot find any reasons they need to create it. It worked for attacking Iraq now they aim to Iran.
