I have a 1 gallon tank and am ready to stock it with something. I have done a lot of research and have found that I am very limited. Will just one African Dwarf Frog survive in my tank?

Also, the tank has no heater. Will the temperaure be okay?

I have had trouble keeping African dwarf frogs. I have tried to keep them in 2.5 and 5 gallon tanks. They are very sensitive to water changes. I also have seen them get caught in filters. I don't know if they make hoods for a one gallon but they will get out if the can find a way. Good luck.

African Dwarf Frog (Xenopus) is totally aquatic and should do well in your one gallon tank. Set it up like you would tropical fish with the filter and air stone but leave the water level an inch or so from the top to keep it from escaping (they can climb so be sure to cover the tank). Enjoy.
