You have to think of the name of the baby according to his/her possible character and personality(a lot could be predicted from the zodiac sign even if you don't believe in it, its still true), family traditions, maybe career you want for him/her.you have to think about the time when his/her name will be very important for your child, like the teens, when he/she will start to introduce him/herself to the opposite sex, you have to think about how will it sound with the surname.please don't give any funny names or long and ancient names or some of TV characters etc. and don't anyone let decide for you.don't give the name of the person you know had been unlucky or sick etc, name means the world to the person and you have to be very serious about it.don't give the name of the parents, people with the same names share the same destiny in some degree. my best advice to you will be to look for all possible lists of names and try to search for their meanings or at least origins.don't give any name that could be possibly be translated into another language with some horrible meaning, there are few, believe me(e.g. in Ukrainian there are two very popular names Vova and Galina and in Italian Galina means chicken and Vova means egg)of course you can create you own name and you don't have to pretend that you've heard it somewhere.good luck and lots of happiness to your baby!

You've always got to remember that it's not just a newborn baby's name, it's going to be a kid in school's name and an adult's name. So it needs to be something that won't get made fun of by other kids and something she can be taken seriously with as an adult. My favorties are Dayanna and Starmonia. I don't think I'd name my kids that, but if you like those names, then by all means, name your baby that!

Don't name your daughter these. Pick something nice. It can be unusual but not this weird. They don't sound pretty etc..they sound terrible. If I had to choose two I would choose Dayanna (Daeanna spelling) and Leticia instead of Lisheena.

You can't be serious... Tiawanna? Doesn't that sound like a place in Mexico? Starmonia sounds like a stripper... those are all horrible. Well, Sharron, not so much... it is a nice, sensible, easy to pronounce All-American name. The rest are horrid.

First of all, remember you are not naming a baby. You are naming a person who has to have that name for life. They have to someday be taken seriously as an adult. Its a pain in the butt to have to spell and pronounce your name slowly to someone just so they can figure out what the heck you are saying

might as well tattoo "ghetto baby" on ur kids forehead.
