Dirk hasn't reached his prime yet. He is only 28. On offense he is already scary good. Mavs go small he can be the post. They go big he can play 2 or 3. He is a 7 footer who can go end to end. Each year he adds something new. In his prime he may add the hook to his arsenal. Perhaps he becomes a point post as his passing develops. Think of him at the top of the key with your post having to guard him, the passing lanes it opens, and he can still shoot the 3 or drive. The one other thing he still needs to develop is the killer instinct. When he gets into his 30's if the instinct comes his defense will improve and the championships will come.
Iverson and Kidd I would not want at any point of their carriers. There seems to be a cancer on each team they play on.
Garnett is a stud. His competitive spirit is wonderful. Both Garnett and Dirk have to score for their teams to win consistently. He is just not as versatile as Dirk.
A few years down the road Dirk could possibly be a 20-10-10 man. I'll take Dirk.

I've always been a K.G. guy. He has great size and skill inside that you don't see often in the NBA. Great bigs are easier to build teams around, cause it only takes a mediocre guard to get them the ball! Clearly these are all great players, but if i was building a franchise, I'd want KG in the middle of it. If he'd ever gotten any real help, he'd probably be an NBA champ by now.
A.I. has always been too selfish for my tastes, even in his prime his FG% is too low, and he doesn't seem to work well with others. Dirk is almost as good an option as KG because he also has exceptional outside shooting. Jason Kidd's still great, but he can't make a team.

well u could say something like Dirk or KG or Allen Iverson and Jason b/c they aren't the same positions like if you have shaq and you're asking us dirk or garnett we probably will pick a point guard but for point guards i will pick jason in his prime b/c he get you at least a triple double every 3 or 4 games and KG b/c he is a dominant power forward down low and also has a mid-range game so that will be my 2 on 2 any day but try it play a basketball game like 2k7 or live and put the people I mentioned like KG and Jason on the same team and you'll know who would win:)

DIRK NOWITZKI
hes the one winner of the group and hes the most dominant. KG has been a loser his whole career its not a coincidence. Kidd cant contribute scoring wise at all strictly passing. AI is too much of a ball hog and hasnt proved he can make his team better. Dirk is unselfish yet he still manages to take over the game when he needs to. The most ungaurdable player in the whole NBA. Plus hes a great rebounder and hes not a bad defender give him a break, hes not an all-defensive player like Kidd but hes not bad.

Extremely good question....but the toss up is really between Jason Kidd and KG...
Dirk is basically only offense...and AI...well..injury plagued even in his prime...and just takes too many shots,,,not very successful as a "team" player...it takes a team to get you chamionships....
and that's what everyone wants..a ring.... so what would u rather have...a ring?... or one of these players in their prime? ...(that's another question)...
Big ticket is definetly a great choice because of his presence on both sides of the floor...and the same argument goes for J-Kidd... they are both TEAM-LEADERS that know when to step up or to step down and feed the guy who is on fire... they know the value of every possession....(unlike AI).... they can both dominate defensivly wether it is in blocks steals or rebounds...unlike Dirk,,,
Both KG and Kidd have never had an injury plagued season and both come with the everynight competitiveness that enriches the play of basketball...
so the tie breaker question...is leadership, veteranship and experience... Jason Kidd has been there before...i would talk about his stats...but take a look for yourself..just too much to mention

Iverson scores in bunches but turns the ball over way too much and although gets steals doesnt have great rebounding skills.
Kidd has a better package with points, assists, def. rebounds and steals, but still doesnt have that dominating presence.
Nowitzski has a little of everything...scores, dishes, rebounds on both sides but isnt feared enough.
I have to go with Garnett. He has everything...all the above with shot blocking to boot....on average he is the best player to build a team around....

Tough question, but i say Garnett. These are all pretty versatile players, but i think he might be the most complete in a very very very close call with jason kidd. He just has had no real great players to help him out his whole career.
