Do you remember how many people stepped down from office when Larry Flint started offering money to those that would step forward about having relations with public officals? What about Newt? He left so he wouldn't go through the same thing.

I don't know what to think about some of you people. Those people who were trying to impeach Clinton, tried everything they could think of. They wanted to get him something awful. They tried the whitewater deal, and lots of other things, and they couldn't get any of it to fly....so as a last ditch effort, they went after him on something that was NOBODY else's business, except those who were directly involved. And, he lied under oath about a question he should never have been asked in the first place. This was a violation he committed against Hillary only. Not against this country or its people. It had nothing to do with any of us.

I believe that most politicians have a hidden agenda, and none are perfect, but if you are going to condemn them, condemn them for REAL violations against this country and it's people, not stupid, petty things that don't even really matter.

It was the process of trying so hard to impeach Clinton for a bj, that was the real embarrassment to this country, not the bj itself. People all over the world were laughing at us for trying to impeach a president over a bj.!!!!!!!!

properly, in accordance to the clicking there is not any adjustments. it truly is all hype to promote paper and information. And do no longer ignore that Clinton did not come out unscathed regardless of the truth that if he did not flow to mattress with the intern. or maybe tho the clicking stuck bill red exceeded, he became the president and they couldn't step too confusing on the president's feet. even as something occurs like this to a candidate operating for place of work it weighs heavily on their campaign. besides the undeniable fact that even as they are contained in the place of work, it will be how efficient they run the place of work and their looked after existence could come 2d.They were elected for his or her ability to be president. now to not be in an ethical contest. in my opinion i could quite have 8 years of bill Clinton than 4 years of George W. Bush!

Perhaps it is to distract us from all the Republican sex scandals. Maybe they are still POed because their Impeachment plot didn't work. Could it be they were all jealous because they weren't getting any of what Bill got? Possibly it is a way of protecting their people by saying Bill did a worse thing. Why do you think so many on here call them wingnuts?

Let's face it. They know they stood no chance to impeach him because they didn't have the votes in the Senate. But dragging him through the mud for so long became an issue affecting the 2000 election, so much so that Gore kept him out of the campaign.

Since the Clinton's have a rap-sheet longer than the Nile River , it comes up when discussing politics . They are both dirty deed do-ers . The liberal media is forbidden to tell Bill & Hillary's dirty laundry ; crimes ; indictments ; lies under oath ; illegal dealings ..etc;etc;etc.. but they can't shut up the whole world ..His infidelity is but one of MANY improprieties ..-and so is hers ..

Nope, I don't care about his infidelity...only his perjury, impeachment, and the revocation of his law license. You leftists must be very proud.

EDIT: Andrew J, ever heard the term "perjury"? Let's pretend for a moment that President Bush actually lied about something (a laughable idea, I know, but let's pretend). If he's not under oath, it's legal. Try this with me: Not under oath, ok...under oath, bad. Got it now? BTW, the word is spelled "liar". You guys can't handle spelling a four-letter word? *rolls eyes*

Pulling out "Little Bill" in The White House (which belongs to all of us) to be lapped on like a lolly pop isn't something easily forgotten.

Every time he speaks, I think of him and that stupid cigar.

He was our President, for God's sake! How can we forget that public humiliation to our entire nation, and it's honorable citizens?

No need for temper tantrums, Andrew.

Well, I'm no Repub, but I just wanted to put my 2 cents in that at least Bill could GET a BJ. See, the problem is we call it a "job." It should really be called a blow vacation.

Because as an elected official they are held to a certain standard and cheating on your wife is not acceptable. US elected officials are representatives of our population, the persons we feel can represent us.

Fear and dis-ease. With the obvious criminality, plunder, death and violence going on under Bush/Cheney, if they can successfully distract you by talking about Clinton's sex life, they will be relieved and feel they have done a good days work.
There is a new bumbersticker that says "Why doesn't someone give Bush a bj so we can Impeach Him?"

Clinton did what he did in private--but was a great public speaker, and did not get us into any wars. His infidelity should have been between himself and his wife--not the entire world.

Newt was kind of a jerk anyway--especially telling his mom that Hillary was a *itch--which Connie Chung broadcast on TV (which she was fired for--as Newt's mom was promised that it would not be on TV by Connie Chung).
