Not knowing your medical history, age, general health info, I can only give you a general recommendation: Take note of how this behaves for a week. Write it down, so you remember. Then go to a doctor and report it.

Sometimes, dull pain in the trunk that wakes a person in the night and persists until morning can be a sign of a cancerous tumor.

Also, if you have injury to a disc in the low back, it is not unusual to have pain that comes on overnight as the disc essentially "re-inflates" with fluid (after several hours of not holding up your body weight).

I realize these are scary scenarios, but w/o more to go on in your case that's the best i can do!
