To get the best results, you'll need some networked computers to practice with. You don't necessarily need Windows 2003 Server. Windows 2000 Server can also function as domain controllers and member servers in an Active Directory domain. Either way, you'll need at least one computer that can function as a domain controller for your practice domain.
