I got my new RAZR phone in November, like Nov.- middle of February the battery was great, it could go for a goo day or two without being charged. Now it barely lasts a day without my battery running all the way down. I turned the phone off and charged it last night and when it said Charge Complete I took it off and just left it off the rest of the night, I turned it on this morning before school, I was at school all day so the only thing I use for is to check the time because in one of my classrooms there is no clock, and I noticed around the end of Spanish that I already had lost a quarter of my battery, just being on...It was on for a good 6 hours, MAYBE 7... I just don't understand it, could I have gotten a faulty battery, or am I just doing something wrong? Is there anything I can do to help restore the battery, without replacing it???

you might be killin your battery life by the memory on it

if its at like 50% and you charge it back up to 100% before it dies then it "learns" that it only has 1/2 the normal battery life so it may start with a 4 hour life and if you charge it after 1/2 the battery is used in a short period of time it will be only good for 2 hours.

It's because your phone's battery has developed a memory, and needs to be reconditioned. This happens when you recharge the battery (any rechargeable battery, for that matter) before it's fully depleted. This results in your battery creating a new "zero charge" level, where it can carry less and less "juice" because it's not being allowed to drain out all the way. Unless you can get ahold of a reconditioner for your cellphone battery (good luck there) all you can do is tolerate it, or buy a new battery, and let it run out before charging it this time.

unfortunately sounds like you have a faulty battery. it should be under warranty and they should replace it with out charging. if not then if you have insurance on your phone you can request a new one and they only charged on average $50 cell phones are always having problems i have a love/hate relationship with them.

Rechargable batteries die fast.

For a battery to recharge properly it needs to be completely Discharged , and sadly now adays the chargers that come with phones do not discharge them, so, they go bad quickly.

sure get a 1500mah, look on amazon and ebay, dont purchase the gold ones they dont artwork to any extent further useful than the unique battery. the wonderful battery for the galaxy ace is the "saner" battery yet i dont comprehend if its nevertheless available. even though battery you notice, examine all comments on it until now determining to purchase.
