You're entitled to your opinions. As long as you are not breaking the law.
But I do question your motives. It makes me wonder why you would miss out on meeting many good, and interesting people, just because you cannot get past skin color or national origin. I think you're living in a shallow world, and that's sad. You don't have to associate with others, but that's no cause for hatred. There is enough of that in the world, why add fuel to the fire?

Well, I really think that he does have a point. Now, I am a black man. Once in Virginia, the KKK wanted to Adopt A Highway. They had no way to stop them from adopting it legally, so they dropped the entire Adopt-A-Highway program to stop people from seeing "This stretch of highway adopted by the Ku Klux Klan" signs on the side of the road. Now, I'm not a huge fan of the KKK, but if society will supress their voice, what will it do when it doesnt want to hear what I want to say either?
Now, while forced segregation may be wrong, why is voluntary segregation wrong? The way to beat racism is through education and tolerance, not banning racists. I find nothing wrong with a Country Club that excludes women from membership. If a group of men want a "boys club", why should they be denied? You dont see a bunch of old men picketing a female only gym. If you dont like black people, and dont want to be around black people, and you own a business, I think you should be allowed to not hire someone based on any reason whatsoever. Because of race, religion, creed, whatever. Seriously, as a black man, save me the trouble of having to work for this guy. Why would I want a boss who would never give me a raise or a promotion. Why would I want to work somewhere that I was not wanted? Who cares?
Opening a PUBLIC business and refusing to serve someone because of race or religion should be regulated. If you open a restaurant you should not be allowed to turn away someone because they are Chinese. On the other hand, if you are a roofer and you only seek business or accept contracts from Chinese, fine. If that is what makes you happy, go for it.
Just remember though, that attacking the racists is fighting intolerance with intolerance. It makes you bigoted against racists. Really, think about it. You want to supress them because their beliefs and ideologies disagree with yours. That is the general definition OF bigotry. And just because you may be right about the fact that racism is wrong, does not make doing the wrong thing for the right reason the right thing to do. And just think if you could stamp out the racism. No more Klan, illegal to burn a cross or say the n-word. Once the precedent is set, what gets suppressed then? Rock and Roll? Communism? Christianity?
Mabye everyone will realize that it isnt good for all those Native Americans to segregate themselves in their reservation. I mean, they wont let anyone in their tribe that doesnt have Native American blood. That is obviously racist. If they cant keep their morality parallel with ours, mabye we should go in there, take their land, and disperse them back into the melting pot and make them mingle a bit.
See, where does it end? Everyone needs to stop worrying about making David Duke hang out with Snoop Dogg and START worrying about teaching the next generation to understand that hate does nothing but harm yourself and eveyone around you.

Legally you can think whatever you like. We're not in a totalitarian state. But you can't discriminate based on race if you are hiring for a job, renting out an apartment, or doing a variety of things that affect other people.

Racist people are cowards who hide behind a veil of hatred to cope with their own insecurities and failures. Their hatred allows them to distract themselves from the reality of their existence:that they are capable of being just as impoverished, ignorant, filthy, and immoral as any other human being could be.

Go for it. Hate eats you from the inside out. Have a good time eating yourself out.
Just don't expect anybody to reach out and give you a hand when you want to get out of the ditch.
