Also, for guys, do you prefer a classy lady?

In clothing, makeup and hair:

Classy is chosing the styles that are appropriate for your age, weight, facial shape, skin tone, eyes, height, etc.

In behavior:

Classy is keeping secrets told to you by friends, not talking about others behind their backs, staying away from gossip, using proper grammar, keeping language clean, not fighting (or even arguing in public) etc.

classy is more an air about someone, i think. classy, to me, isn't defined by what you wear, your prada or who has a yacht. half the people i've met who try so hard to come off as elegant are terrible at it. i'd define those as show ponies. i've met people in levi's and work boots with beautiful presence, grace and class. that being said, some of us possess it, and some of us have a hilarious vulgar tongue. whatever.

Classy is all the way you present yourself through clothes, personality, what you say......

To me classy is someone who:
Dresses conservative, and not too revealing
Also, someone who speaks what others want to hear, and give people positive remarks.

Generally, what everyone else has said. Use tact when speaking, use proper English, present yourself well, be well-mannered, have good posture, be kind to everyone you meet... Generosity helps as well. Take care of yourself and eat healthy foods. Dress sharply. Stay on top of current events. Most of all, have confidence and make sure to smile!

Being able to think before speaking, being able to correctly determine what is fit to be spoken aloud. Ettiquite is important.

You don't have to have a perfect lifestyle or even a "not-unfortunate" one. You just have to act like a good person, even mannered, quiet voice when needed.

Classy = not trashy, slutty.
But together nicely, not cussing up a storm.
