Ok here's the story:
My dog is a chihuahua and jack russel terrier mix and we got him just a few months ago. We got him from my sister's friend who locked him up in a cage all day. Now at our house, he sleeps anywhere he wants, we feed him anything he likes, and so on.
Does he sound any bit spoiled?

Oh and whenever i'm in my bed or on a couch he just jumps up and slids himself under the covers and if I push him off, he jumps right back on.

Yes. And contrary to popular belief, you may be doing more harm than good.
Whould you spoil you're child like that?
Dogs need structure too in order to really feel comfortable and thrive.

i inherited a chihuahua that was locked in a cage all day and she is very spoiled. had her for over a year now. when i first got her i would bend down to pet her and she would just bite me. i was trying very hard to find a home for her but after about 5 days i could not get rid of her. she follows me every where i go. when i get home from work she jumps in my lap like she has not seen me in a month and just adores me. I don't know what i have ever done without her. be careful though small dogs are not to have chocolate because it can be fatal to them. it scared me because she ate a bunch of kisses at valentines day. . . . .she got them off the sofa table and somehow got the foil off of them and ate them. Fortunately it was not enough to make her sick but the vet says that chocolate can kill her.

If you ask me, I don't think dogs can be spoiled enough. ( I really love dogs) plus you gotta make up for all the days he's been locked up. No dog deserves to be caged up

You can never spoil a dog too much. Just don't forget the exercise and keep his diet healthy. Fit dogs are much happier than overweight lazy dogs.

It's hard not to spoil a dog, especially when they are cute and loving. But it is important for the dog to have boundaries, he needs to know the rules. Don't love him to death. Good luck.
