i need help with a new wardrobe. i like dressing casual and kind of prep...not totally into the destroyed jeans thing but i like them a little faded. nice shirts. and t shirts. what brand should i get. also shoes. anything thats like casual and sporty at the same time. sumthin like pumas maybe. any help would be appreciated!!

Pumas are good. Usually it's not really the brand that's such an important part in shoes, since every brand has a crap shoe design (at least one).
Clothes, Armani (but please stay far far away from A|X tshirts - that's just tacky and freaks people out), Abercrombie's alright if you pick and choose, same with Hollister, although you'll be wearing the same exact thing as every other self-proclaimed preppy guy. Polos are great - Lacoste is fab. Tommy's good as long as you distance yourself from the bright colors line (bright pink, bright green, etc...) It's tacky and overdone. You look like you're trying too hard.
Lucky Brand Jeans are good for some vintage t-shirts and comfortable jeans.
Urban Outfitters is hot for jackets and pants, but pick and choose there too.

Kswiss r awesome shoes and so r DC's the skate boardin shoes. Plus Ugg boots work with anything. For clothes u should try the brand name either Lola's or Rave...plus old navy has the same type of clothes u like...Abercrombie&Fitch is an AWESOME brand along with Areopastele

Diesel, especially the products that are made in Italy (the clothing company has manufacturers in various countries).
Diesel sells items that cover or barely cover you (depending on your style) from head to toe: caps, shirts, watches, pants, jeans, socks, shoes.

tops & tees: printed tees and hoodies.
jeans:get a whole lot faded and at least one destroyed.
