Because they don't have any morals or respect for our rights as Native people. It only figures that the modern governments would go that low.

I was drawn to your question over three hours ago and have been doing some reading about and around the life of Harriet Nahanee and other activity in Canada.

While I cannot place direct blame on the government of Canada for her immediate death; I wonder if the government, and many in North America, are not responsible for the murder of the life God intended her to have from the time she was a little girl.

I also read of the Stolen Sisters; and many other things which have brought sorrow to my heart tonight. You did not mention the men who failed to stand where the grandmothers stood.

I am not much on ancestors or mother earth and do not belong to the original people. Yet I know the spirit arrows and I know the life behind all things. There is a day set, to require in kind what has been taken from the earth; and what has been taken from the many children like Harriet Nahanee.

I tell you it will not be long in coming.

Their afraid of them. The elders have peacful and wise powers beyond any powers of "WAR" or "Force".

The government is affriad of them and has put them in FEDERIAL concern. They are affriad of us like they were with all the other peoples and cultures. They feel out of place, they feel they do not belong to the world & earth. They do not know who they are, they are lost.

I beleive, passed elders spirits live in the rain and weather. They are getting increasingly angry at the disrespect against them.

The elders still live as the birds, water, trees, weather,.....

Not in Canada so I don't know your laws, but that is really cruel to do to an old woman. Actual criminals have been treated better then that! Heartless people need to be dropped in the middle of the ocean. : (
