* I have asked other adults the same thing and they always tell me the same thing that those stores are cheaper.
I have stopped shopping there when I found out the truth about how they treat and underpay their employee's and among other things.
It's kinda funny though once I stopped shopping there I realized how much money I was saving!
Because most people when they go to those stores don't realize how much more junk they are buying that is not on there list just because it is cheap and/or on sale. If you compare prices you will realize they are only about 10 cents cheaper on most products.
They cut their employees pay and benefits and have higher cutbacks/layoffs just so the customers will have cheaper prices and therefore spend more money! The customers don't realize that they are spending more going there than they would going else where! It's kinda funny on how that works!
Also Wal-Mart sends there employees to Medicaid for benefits and each year just from wal-mart alone costs Medicaid $60 Billion Dollars probley more by now. I heard that a few years ago.
And that's one of the reasons why the Gov. had to cut there budget and get rid of the dental program on Medicaid.
They do this just so the customers won't have to pay higher prices instead they just get a higher tax price so the gov. can afford to give each Medicaid money for benefits and such.

Americans don't want to pay a lot for stuff, so they shop at the store that sells stuff the cheapest, and somewhere along the line people stopped looking closely at stuff to determine quality. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't shop at really expensive places or anything, but a Wal-Mart t-shirt is so poorly made even compared to a Target or Old Navy t-shirt. But, since it's 5 cents cheaper, the average ignorant consumer will go to Wal-Mart instead. They don't think about the labor that went into making and merchandising and selling that t-shirt because it doesn't directly affect them.

What brand of clothes do you think aren't made in sweat shops? Just because you buy it at an uppity store doesn't mean its not made by cheap labor from a third world country. It's time to open your eyes and stop living in a vacuum. Right next to the "fake" clothes on the assembly line are the "real" ones. Same stuff, you want to pay more. Buddy it's called global economy and that's the way it is. Pay 1000 bucks or 10 bucks, it's all made in China.
