final fantasy 7 cloud strife?

Question

what really hapens when cloud's health reduce to 1 and he start attacking his enemys without stopping till ther are dead?
how can i do it again? I dont know how i did it the first time

one other thing.....when I was fighting in the GoldSocer's batlle thing for battle points...someone told me that there was going to be a very big fight and just the strongest were going to fight...how can I fight in that big fight?

if i'm not mistaken, the character's hp has to be 7777,
