It's a term used when the lenses in a pair of glasses are very very thick, kind of like the bottom of an old style glass Coke bottle.

Hah! That's a term I have not heard in a long time. I used to get called that with the glasses I had. It means that your lenses are so thick, they look like coke bottle bottoms.
