Help! My social life is falling.?

In lunch, I dont talk to anyone and im so freakin' bored. What do I do, what do I say?

I am an old guy...we didn't have the computer or online crap. We had to develop social skills, because we lived in the real world more than today's kids. The thing to remember is that many folks feel as awkward as you do. Sometimes a smile and a cheerful hello can lead to a friendship, don't panic or rush it. Don't look at it like you NEED a friend...look at it like you are OFFERING your friendship. Remember folks love to talk about themselves so ask questions or advice. Good luck....you'll do fine.

Well, you could always come here and surf around, answering questions and such.

And then you could always read a book or watch some veido clips online.

Or you could try to mingle with you colleagues and see what they do for lunch and hang out with them if you wanted to. It has to start with you if you want to get invited to lunch with them as you say you simply don't talk to anyone! People may think you prefer to be left alone.

sit in the halls and read a book/ listen to music. people will come up to you. don't let anybody see you are bored. they will see your look as a preppy look and that you don't want to be there friend.

you can also try making new friends. go up to a group of people, or just make a friend in a class.
