Most people are not further ahead because they lack opportunities, but rather because they failed to capitalize on the opportunities they were and are given and most of the time that's not because they don't have the money to do so, but because they lack the motivation. Giving people money usually doesn't motivate them to do more than go out and spend it. And if everyone had motivation to begin with, they wouldn't need a handout of free money to get ahead.

No. First, since everyone is starting with the same amount and that would level the playing field in that area and thus eliminate it from the equation. Which leads us to the real issue..... I think it mostly comes down to each person's talents. It's what people can do with what they have. Not what they have.

you at the instant are not egocentric for being dissatisfied. In maximum cultures pregnant women folk and girls who've those days given start are celebrated. Having a infant is a huge ordeal, even without the problems you experienced, so i'm confident all of us might experience unhappy not having their baby and excitement (and worry) regarded by potential of those they love. i don't comprehend why your loved ones might try this. All i can wager is that there became already rigidity on your loved ones and this became an extension of it. i think of which you're able to communicate on your loved ones approximately this. additionally, is the bathe on your sister in regulation being thrown by potential of a kin member on your component of the kin? perchance she is barely having a tub because of the fact somebody you don't comprehend is throwing it. As for the child e book, hide those pages up with pictures and shop sakes. I did that for our daughter's e book in view that we did not have a start announcement. I in basic terms positioned different issues over the words and you are going to be able to't even tell!

It's not what you know, it's who you know.

I think it would go a long way to levelling the playing field, but there are so many other variables that effect opportunities.

The impossibility and absurdity of attempting to making it happen is another matter.

From whom are they to receive this so called same amount? The State? or their parents? And after receiving it what they would do with it.? Who will guard and administer it? Or is it to be given only when they grow up?

I'm not seeing a direct link between money and opportunities...
It might help to a certain extent, but if you are born blind but have a bunch of money your still not going to have as much opportunity as someone else who can see and has money..

Not unless they lived in the same place with the same access to goods and services.

To say nothing of the disaster that that sort of collection/redistribution plan would be.

Not necessarily . Its the actions people make and the circumstances around them that create inequality as well.
That is a socialist idea , nice in theory but not practical.
