I think that its like real life only more polarized.
A mix of the good the bad and the ugly.
Some great people mixed with some bad people and with a very large pool of people who are rallied up into a frenzy over one or two headlines they read.
This format doesn't allow much room for attempting to set anyone straight.
So its mostly entertainment.

Most of the answers are mindless parroting of the agendas of the far left and right.
Most of the questions are statements either phrased as rhetorical questions or questions of the same type as "When did you stop beating your wife"
Occasionally you come across a question with some substance (like this one) that makes it worthwhile.

Actually neither. We're here for that Great American Sport of Political Bashing. And it's fun to be outraged and outrageous. We're not changing anyone's mind, we're just having a bit of a laugh.

75 percent opinion, with no factual basis (most of which no attempt is even made or even any concern with any attempt)
20 percent opinion with incorrect factual basis (either a blatant misunderstanding of the concepts they are discussing or someone just didn't bother to read whatever story they are talking about)
5 percent actual well thought out, mostly factual and decently cited
and that goes for everyone... it's like trying to find drinking water in the sewers if you're trying to actually find the truth about something...
that's my estimates based on what I've seen..

Really scared when I read the liberal ones, sometimes not wanting to admit I'm a Replican when I read the far, far right ones, some informative stuff, and some worthless. It's definitely a variety.

Mostly political partisanship. Most of the people who had a desire to give good answers and ask good questions have been reported away, driven away, or have been reduced to the lowest common factor... slaves to their partisan and theological ideas.
