Mustard is the only necessary condiment for a hot dog. Anything else is extra. Appropriate toppings would be chili, onions, relish, and/or cheese in any combination.
Anyone putting ketchup on their hot dogs should have their toenails torn out by rabid weasels.

although i visit't ead warm canine anymore via their intense salt content textile my regularly occurring way of eating them become with a dab of mustard, and diced onions. I easily have had a technique of toppings that I used to get from a street cart at one time. One I had become with tomato slices and eco-friendly peppers and bits of onion and mustard. and obviously, the classic chili canine with onions, and grated cheddar cheese on accurate. and that i have had them with sliced clean mushrooms, and tomato bits and onion bits and a dab of mustard. And once, I did try the dill pickle get excitement from, and diced tomato on accurate. And that become solid also. My widespread although, is merely the diced onion and a dab of mustard, quite than a slathering.
