What does it mean when users call one another "trolls?" What have they done to be classified as such?

They ask questions just to get a rise out of people, usually racist or sexist or something disgusting. People fall for it every time.

troll is a person who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum and intentionally tries to cause disruption often in the form of posting messages that are inflammatory,insulting, incorrect, inaccurate, absurd,or off-topic, with intent of provoking a reaction from others.
