my spouse has just turned 49 and is crankey all the time, is he worried about turning 50 and getting older, he was not like this before turning 49 what do men think about turning 50

My husband is 52...he lowered his Accord, put all kinds of junk on it ( so I couldn't/wouldn't drive it) let his hair grow long ( he was 48 and retired from the military) and got stupid...after a yr he stopped being stupid, bought a new car (sold the Accord to a 17 yr old) cut his hair and started acting like his old idiot self.
It's a faze it'll pass...it usually does...

Wow, definately mid-life crisis. It should pass, if it doesn't he may have a problem with his hormone levels. Have a doctor do some blood work. My grandfather had this problem and was impossible with out his hormone meds.

Yes the feeling of getting old hits and hits hard sometimes,feels like you can't turn heads anymore and that your sex life is going down hill.,keep him active to make him feel young and it will help you also.
