There is a 'LOUD' sound that comes out of my computer quite often. It sounds just like thunder or like someone is bowling. It happens quite often but still kind of shocks me when it does it.
I keep laughing and telling my son and husband that the computer is ALIVE and sometimes I wonder if it is???!!! HA! HA!
Does anyone out there know what this is? Has anyone had similar sounds with their computer?

when does this happen, when you turn the computer on or just at random times? It could be your hard drive spinning up to read or write infomation, but I've never heard a hard drive get 'LOUD'.
