i hope not. there are many people crying out for socialism. i believe in personal responsibility to include personal FINANCIAL responsibility. too many unchecked pregnancies caused by irrresponsible sexual habits as well as too many living beyond their means. i wonder why these folks whine and blame their problems on hard working, successful people. class envy, if you will. am i wrong?

I hope not either. Actually think the whole "Global Climate Change" thing is a way to put more taxes on us to further special interest groups. Its true that climate is changing, but its not our fault, even if it is man caused... tell China and Russia to stop thier carbon emmisions. (I don't beleive its man's fault).

A welfare state is the last thing I want. America was built on the hard working individual. Aid should be given to those that can't find jobs to get jobs, but direct financial assistance is bogus. I support a government daycare assistance check for single mothers, so they can work rather than sitting at home and getting checks from our government.

Yes. Single mothers and illegal aliens are spreading poverty across the nation.

California alone spends over $10 billion a year on illegal aliens. They are the ones having the most number of babies out of wedlock.

Patriot, we're already there. Have been since the 30s. Remember the theme from "All In the Family"?

"Didn't need no welfare state... everybody pulled his weight..."

Honestly, I created my own problems that I have today, all on my own.
