that should be a simple question to answer, just ask your self what has Israel actually did for or against the U,S,?

Of course not. Israel has undeclared nuclear bombs. We all know it, all the Allies know it and all of their enemies. Israel will not attack with nukes unless it is attacked first, this I believe is true. What I also believe is that an Israel without nuclear weapons is a country doomed to extinction, but an Israel with nuclear weapons survives to live another day. It's really that simple. They would have never been around this long if they didn't possess these weapons.

Similar comparisons are made often on YA and they always fall short in their logic. I continue to fail to understand how someone cannot see the difference between fanatical leaders with hate agendas - such as Kim Jong-il, one panic attack away from hitting the button, or a man like Ahmadinejad, who is so delusional he holds conferences on whether the Holocaust really happened and swears to destroy Israel. This man wants to destroy Israel out of pure hatred. Israel intends to defend itself from those who blatantly announce their intention to destroy them and have easy means to do so. One aggressive move toward Israel by Iran and Israel will be justified in nuking the hell out of them in my opinion. We react the same ourselves, we do not nuclear first strike - we wait for grevious injury and that is the way it should be. Men like Jong-il and Ahmadinejad have no such morals or logic for restraint. If they can't do it themselves, they'll sell the technology and equipment to terrorists who will do it for them. Telling the difference between the good guys and the bad in this world is very important to every one of us. No matter how much we disagree on domestic politics, most Americans know the difference between a nuclear-equipped nation that is responsible and stays within the confines of the treaties agreed to by its members, and rogue nations that wish nothing more than to shock the world and spew their murderious hatred and rage for those unlike themselves.

BTW - About Sharon? You suggest perhaps we should attack Israel, so I take it you aren't too crazy about them. Yet you hold up Sharon as having the wisdom of the ages about the relationship between the U.S. and Israel. Just like other any politician, Sharon made an arrogant and reckless statement. Why would we attack a country who has threatened no one? Israel is an ally, and a good friend to us.

Iran is a state sponser of terrorists, ie.. Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, etc. Their own president expressed the desire to wipe Israel off the map. And they are lying to the world stating that they are using nuclear material for "power production". A powerplant only requires 30% enriched material. The Iranians are seeking 90% enriched material, which is weapons grade. When you have a country as volatile as Iran, possessing nuclear weapons, the region, and the entire world is at risk, especially Israel.

There are many nuclear capable nations, including India and Pakistan. But they have made no threat to their neighbors involving nuclear weapons. So you do not see condemnation of them, as you do with Iran.

First of all, Israel has killed thousands of innocent Muslim and Christian civilians with the weapons given to them by the US. Did you see that young kid, Mohamed Aludra, get shot in the arms of his father. Billions of our tax money is sent to Israel annually, which is spend on killing young children, women, and old people. I wonder sometimes why when ten Palestinian innocent people die; they are shown in the last pages of our newspapers. But when one Israeli soldier dies, he is shown in the first page of the US newspapers. People, we've been, and still are brainwashed for we are attacking the victim and supporting the killer here.
